Restitution

Restitution

We welcome you to the evening fellowship, it pleased God to wash his church again by his word, bringing us to the understanding of what true restitution is. Stay blessed as you read.

Scriptures: Exodus 22:1,Acts 3:19-20, Leviticus 4:6, Leviticus 24:16-18,Act 17:30, Ephesians 2:11-13, Hebrews 10:26,Romans 3:21-26,1 Samuel 1:1-2, Deuteronomy 21:15,1 Timothy 3:1-2,12,Titus 1:5-6

Restitution means to restore whatever you have taken that doesn’t belong to you. Yes, restitution is in the Bible, but you can misplace it. So, we want to dive into the scriptures to rightly divide the word of Truth.

In the gospel of grace, you have your part to play. Though grace means unmerited favor, however, there’s a part of faithfulness that we need to play as one showing gratitude to the value of that grace we were not worthy of.

Some misapplication of restitution

Some denominational churches have wrought havoc to the topic of restitution declaring that “Your salvation is not complete until you make restitution” meaning every sin you committed before you become a believer, you are to go and restitute it, however that is not the Bible restitution, because confession is not restitution. Telling me of my pen you stole is different from restoring my pen back to me.

They claim that if you have married two wives before you know the Lord, you have to drive one away and have just one wife. Brothers, you are not a believer until you believe. When you believe in the right way, God loses the right to charge you of your past sin when you were in the world. But, after you’ve known the Lord, you are to live the life of your faith; the bible does not permit any man marrying two wives after he has believed.

You cannot restore the virginity you took, the man you killed cannot be brought back to life with your so-called restitution, thus, you cannot restore all things. So it is important to know what restitution is really, so you don’t claim a righteousness that is but self made -such is not acceptable with God.

God gave Israel the law (including the law of restitution),not when they were in Egypt, but after they left Egypt. The children of Israel must have been committing sin in Egypt, but God cannot hold it against them, because they had no law, they were ignorant to the law. However, after they received the law, they knew the dos and don’t of God. God never told them to make the restitution of the sin they committed in Egypt, not even to confess.

Therefore, we know that one who is to make restitution is “a believer.”

If a man is to be saved by restitution, then, no one will be saved.

The children of Israel were not a church until they came out of Egypt. It was when God called them out, that they became a church. And it was when they became a church that they were given the law.

Also, when you are baptized into the body of Christ, having repented genuinely of your sins, you become a member of the church of Jesus Christ, and all your past sins are forgiven, no more can God hold them against you. The blood of Jesus Christ has blotted out all of that. The righteousness of Jesus Christ is by faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross.

Now brothers and sisters, in order to have peace, you need to make restitution of all the things you do, because you have known the law of God. A life is expected of you now that you have known Christ, and any actions and deeds contrary to that life of Christ need to be confessed.

The Bible made us understand that after we have the knowledge of the truth, and then willfully commit sin, there is no more sacrifice for sin, thus, you need to make it right.

So brethren, here is the Bible restitution, make everything right, sanctify yourself, wash your heart, if you want the blessing of God. God is sweeping his church, and it is a spiritual sweeping, we need to be right with God, we need to be Christians indeed. If you want freedom and a clear conscience with God, make your way right with your brother, sister, father, mother, wife, husband and Pastor.

May God help and bless us.

The True Church

The True Church

We welcome you into today’s service. The Holy Spirit through His servant explained some of the scriptures that are being misinterpreted by denominations. And we are glad to bring you the review. So, let’s dive in!

Texts: Jude 1:8-9, Hebrew 7:19, Galatians 2:16- Galatians 4:4-5

WHY THE DEVIL CONTENDED WITH THE BODY OF MOSES

Brothers, first, I need you to know that you need to have time for the word of God, if you don’t want to be swayed off by the cunningly devised fables of religion. If you don’t have time for the word of God, then you don’t have time to go in rapture.

Some denominational churches have come up to teach that “no man dies and go to heaven without a ritual performed on them” justifying their dogma from Jude 1:8-9 that says that ‘the devil contended with the body of Moses with Michael, the archangel.’

But, what’s the bible doctrine?

The Bible made us understand that the Law of Moses cannot justify anyone, and not even Moses, who was the Mediator of the Old Testament could be justified. The property of the devil lies in everyone of them. The Law of Moses only covers their sin by the blood of bulls and goats, however, the blood of Jesus remits every sin: this means that we are justified as though we never did sin.

So, the devil contended with the body of Moses because the works of the law cannot save any man. The Law doesn’t make any man perfect, but Christ in us, is the hope of glory.

JESUS, GOING TO PREACH TO THE SOULS IN HELL

Text: 1Peter 3:18, Hebrew 9:27, Hebrew 9:22, Hebrew 10:4

According to denomination, “Jesus went to hell to save those that were disobedient at the time of Noah.” That’s a big lie.

Others believe that if you die as a sinner, you will go to a place called ‘purgatory’ where you pay a thing called ‘penance’ which will pay for your sin and reduce the agony in hell until your payment is full. If they would later be saved; then, there was no need for Noah to build the ark. The ark was God’s medium for salvation then, which means that no one who was not in the ark was saved.

Don’t base your salvation on generosity. The rich man that fed Lazarus could not by generosity make it to heaven; don’t be deceived by denominations. After hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ, if you die not believing, you cannot go to heaven. It has been appointed to die once.

Because the blood of bulls and goats could not save anyone in the Old Testament, the “just men in the Od Testament were kept in a compartment in hell called the “Bosom of Abraham”. The devil still had a little power over them, they could only escape there to paradise when the blood of the seed (Jesus) was shed. Without the blood of Jesus Christ, they cannot know the way to God, because Jesus is the way. Thus, the Old Testament saints died in expectation –Jesus holds their salvation.

WHO ARE THOSE THAT JESUS WENT TO HELL TO PREACH TO?

Scriptures: Hebrew: 11:32-40, Matthew 27:46-53

In the real sense, Jesus went to the souls in prison to testify, for the Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of Testimony.

When Jesus cried on the cross of Calvary and yielded up the ghosts, he went straight to hell, collected the key from the devil and liberated the saints of old, because now, the blood that justifies and sets free has been shed. He liberated them but they could not go to heaven, they were appearing in Jerusalem to the saints. Jesus is the firstborn amongst the dead, so he needed to go first to God to present that blood, before anyone else could go. However, he went to the sinners, to testify that what they disbelieved was true, and so will it ever be true.

WALKING ON BAREFOOT

When God told Moses to take off his sandals, he said it was because where he was standing was a holy ground. God did not charge us to go around walking bare footed, Nigeria is not a holy ground!

THE CELESTIAL BODY VS THE TERRESTRIAL BODY

Scriptures: 1Corinthians 15:39-40, 44-54, Philippians 3:20,

Celestial is a heavenly body, a glorious body –a body that cannot die. Which means that no one has that glorious body now because we are still dying. Everyone now wears a terrestrial body.

Though, the terrestrial body has its own glory, it is, however, limited and cannot be compared with the celestial body. The celestial body is a spiritual body. You need the terrestrial body to live on earth here and to do the will of God before you receive the incorruptible body (celestial body) and get changed from this mortality to immortality.

More so, there was no trumpet that sounded for the saints of old to be resurrected, it was the message of Jesus that raised them up. Likewise, there is no trumpet that will sound in heaven like the denominational churches teach rather, we will hear a message that will bring about a change in our vile body into a glorious body.

THE SEVEN CHURCHES JOHN WROTE TO IN REVELATION

Scriptures: Revelation 1:11, Jude 1:3

The seven churches that John was commanded to write to were not the only churches in Asia Minor, however, these selected churches had certain characteristics that will manifest as the dispensation of the Gentiles goes on to the end. So respectively, each church beginning from Ephesus signifies the character of the age till we get to the last, that is our time –the Laodicea age.

Each age has their angel (messenger) and their message. We are in the last church age, and we have a message which says, “back to the faith of the apostles of the Bible” and the messenger God sent was a man in the Spirit of Elijah (Malachi 4:5-6), and his name is William Marrion Branham.

Jesus Christ established only one church on the day of Pentecost and Jude tells us to contend for the faith which was once delivered to the apostles. We must do what the apostles did, we must baptise the way they baptise. We are built upon the foundation of the apostles- there is only one Church! Amen!

CONVERSATION (CITIZENSHIP, CONDUCT AND BEHAVIOR)

Scriptures: Galatians 1:13, Ephesians 2:3, Philippians 3:20

One word in the Bible can have more than one meaning, depending on its application and nature of context. Let me take you through a few of them with the word “Conversation”

In Philippians 3:20, it says, “for our conversation is in heaven”, conversation here means citizenship. As believers of the Faith of Jesus Christ, we have a kingdom that is not of this world, we are peculiar people, and thus our citizenship is in heaven. Amen.

In Galatians 1:13, the word conversation talks of Paul’s behaviour when he was in the Jewish’s religion.

And lastly, in Ephesians 2:3, conversation there means conduct.

This is necessary for you to have a proper understanding of the word of God. Amen. God bless you as you keep the Faith and fire burning.

The Goodness of Repentance

The Goodness of Repentance

We approached the second sermon, The Holy Spirit gave us another sober reflecting sermon, and it indeed answered many questions in our mind as to why certain things remain unchanged. Stay blessed as you read.

Scriptures: Romans 2:1-5, Acts 2:22-38, 2Corinthians 7:9-10, Psalm 34:18, Psalm 51:17, Luke 5:32, Luke 13:1-5. Luke 15:11-20, Luke 15:4-7, Matthew 3:6-7

Repentance means to feel pain, sorrow or regret for what one has done that’s not right; to be sorry for sin as morally evil; to seek forgiveness and to cease from practicing the same evil.

Judging by the standard of the above definitions of repentance, one could conclude that  many people are yet to know what it means to repent genuinely. It is worthy of note, also, that without genuine repentance, no man would receive the Holy Spirit. A man who has genuinely repented would, no doubt, not justify himself, rather, he would ask for mercy with a sober heart. This genuine repentance is borne out of regret and self condemnation for wrongs  done or sins committed.

Repentance is personal, you are to repent for yourself and by yourself. Thus, there can’t be forgiveness if there’s no repentance. Please, note that fasting doesn’t bring forgiveness, repentance does.

Likewise, you can’t be diplomatic about repentance and expect to be forgiven. Don’t repent with sense, else you die -unrepented sin could lead to death; physically and/or spiritually, unless you’re not a child of God.

The first instruction for salvation and forgiveness that will make you a child of God is “repentance”.  Repentance, however, doesn’t cost you money, it would only cost you humility and self conviction that what you’ve done is wrong. The only thing that delivered the people of Nineveh was repentance! When God saw genuine repentance in them, he couldn’t help but show them mercy.

A proud man cannot repent, thus, he cannot harness the glory of God. So, repentance has to come from agony. When you are penitent and feel sober for the wrongs you’ve done, you may not even need prayer before you would be forgiven. The prodigal son in the Bible, after he realised the evil he did, went back to his father with a sober mind and even before he apologised, his father merely seeing afar off had compassion on him, ran to him and embraced him. This is to tell you that God only needs you to repent, he will accept you back no matter how great your sins may be.

There’s a repentance that God accepts; it is such that you were not persuaded to do! Having Godly sorrow over your mistakes will work salvation and bring blessings to you.

Unrepentance, most times proves that you are deliberate about your sin. If you want to be accepted, repent, that is your road map to the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Brethren, Jesus did not die smiling, likewise, you can’t get the free gift of salvation by dancing around, unrepentant. Nevertheless, repentance brings joy both to heaven and to the soul that repents, there is nothing as sweet as when a soul is connected back to his Creator.

If truly you repent, then bear fruits worthy of repentance; let people see the signs that you have truly repented.

God bless you all.

The Type of Business a Child of God Can Do

The Type of Business a Child of God Can Do

Shalom to the saints of God, we are happy to bring you the review of our sermon. The word of God is profitable for reproof and correction, and God has been faithful in giving us kingdom principles on how to live. Today, we dealt with the type of business a child of God can do and cannot do.

Scriptures: Ezekiel 33:7, Leviticus 10:10, Proverb 11:15, Jeremiah 17:11, Proverbs 13:11.

Everybody wants to be rich, everybody wants to be blessed, but how do you make your money?

There are certain businesses a child of God must not engage in no matter how much he needs money. For example, a child of God must not be a smuggler (you can’t have the Holy Spirit and engage in such a business. Moreso, it is against the country’s law). A child of God can never be a money doubler. You must not engage in such a business. Any money gotten from such business is devilish –God is not in it. So, it’s not simply about making money, it’s about how such money is gotten. Hence, you shoudn’t envy people who are prospering because you don’t know the source of their prosperity.

A child of God cannot engage in gambling, no matter the name they call it. That is never a means by which God blesses his own people. Gambling is not of God! If you cannot prove how you make your profit, you can be arrested for money laundering, let your business be provable. The love of money is the root of all evil. Money is good, but you should be careful of greed and selfishness. A real businessman doesn’t gamble or attempt to get rich overnight. You should not, as Christians, sell inferior goods and pretend that it is original, nor sell inferior goods with the same price as the original. A child of God must be disciplined and learn to save and invest read investment by prophet WMB

Money doesn’t increase itself unless you invest. It is when you invest that it will yield profit; anything different from that, is gambling. A good businessman knows better than to gamble. Gambling will make you rich today and a pauper tomorrow. Brethren should help one another. If 10 genuine brothers are employed, they can gather together to make contributions to meet one another’s need- there’s no sin in that.

Money lending is not a sin if it is done in a godly manner. Brethren could come to terms and make an agreement on how each person would make profit, the percentage interest, the date to pay back, etc., but problem will come in when you do not keep to your promises (you must not abuse brotherhood). It good pray earnestly before taking a job from a brother because the Devil doesn’t like the bond you share and would like to break it by turning brothers against themselves. Your money must be real, gotten responsibly, if you want to get blessing from God. You must not kill people because you want to get rich! You must run every business with the fear of God. Don’t be anxious to get rich, start small. If you start small, you will rise but if you start from up, there’s high probability that you will fall.

Don’t stand as a surety for anybody if you don’t want to go to prison! If you stand in for someone because you think he/she is nice or he/she is your boss, you will be called a fool at the end of the day. Proverbs 11:15 – He that is surety for a stranger, shall (suffer) for it.

Vow of Blessing

Vow of Blessing

We welcome you to today’s sermon review, in this sermon, God elucidated the issue of “vow” through his servant. Keep reading and be blessed!

Scriptures: 1Samuel 1:10, Genesis 28:20, Act 10:1-5, Genesis 31:4-7, Numbers 29:39, 2King 12:13-15.

There are various kinds of vow in the Bible: vow of bargain – the vow of Jephthah is an example of a vow of bargain; vow of blessing – the vow for blessing is not a bargain; vow of service and offering – the vow of Jacob is a vow of service and offering. Brothers and sisters, if you want to be blessed, the vow you need to understand to give is a vow of service and offering.

Jacob made a vow of service in Genesis 28, he vowed to give God the tenth of all he had if God would preserve his life and make him to come back to his father’s house in peace, but he began to give his vow even before returning back to his father’s house. He didn’t wait until he got back to his father’s house. Jacob made himself rich through the knowledge of God by understanding the vow that brings blessing.

The reason you are operating on a permanent level is because you don’t know the way of blessing. You bargain with God, instead of making acceptable sacrifices to Him. There is no other way to be blessed of God beyond your expectation than for God to give you the revelation of how to give to him.

There are different kinds of grounds –you don’t sow your seed on a concrete ground, a wise man will sow on a fertile ground – the true gospel of Jesus Christ (the message of Malachi 4:4-6). That is what God has given us in this generation. Therefore, sow into the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

A problem that is ahead of you could be solved today by your peace offering to God. And that’s why God delivers you from problems you would have encountered in future.  If truly you sow, you will reap! Make a vow, and give it –don’t play smart! Remember, the vow of service and offering to God is a vow of blessing.

More so, for those who are in the service of God and to church, you have to be careful with the way you handle God’s money. The church may not demand accountability from you because they trust you, but God is looking at you. The money of the children of God gotten in a hard way should not be used by you for luxury. You are walking on Emmanuel’s ground, and you are expected to be Christians. Many of the problems you are facing are caused by your unfaithfulness to God’s work when it is committed to you. It’s not only in tithe that you can rob God, when a work of the church is entrusted in your care, how you handle it can determine whether you rob God or not.

Let’s not be lascivious handling the things of God, take care of it the way you would take care of your personal belongings. Be very much sincere to yourself when handling the things of God because God is not a respecter of persons.

God bless you.

The Devil Wanted To Be Worshiped And He’s Being Worshiped

The Devil Wanted To Be Worshiped And He’s Being Worshiped

The last service of the camp, we were blessed with this topic on what the devil’s ambition is: how the motive of the devil has always been to be worshiped, how he has been able to achieve his plan and he’s being worshiped.

SCRIPTURES: Isaiah 14:12, Ezekiel 28:12-15, 2 Peter 2:4, Jude 1:6, Revelation 12:3-4, Genesis 3:6, Proverbs 30:19-20, John 4: 22-24, Revelation 13:7-8, Romans 13:1

Although God created the devil first as Lucifer, he however knew that one day, he was going to become his enemy. He may not have led you into your evil act, but they are not hidden to him, he knows you will do whatever, and he knows how to bring you out if you belong to him. Lucifer was a perfect being, adorned with precious stones, until iniquity was found in him. God have a purpose for creating everyone and everything he has written about you must come to pass; there was no devil that deceived the devil (Lucifer), what he was made for simply came to pass.

The ambition of the devil to be worshiped did not start when Isaiah wrote about him, not even in the garden of Eden, but long before then, in the prehistoric world. He did not start his mission to be worshiped among human, he started first with angel. Please know that the devil will not come to you as a devil for you to worship him, he will disguise as God and if you are not careful, you will worship him in ignorance. And also know that the devil is spirit, and can assume any form appealing to you to worship, hence, another reason to be careful. We honor and respect men but we don’t worship them, our worship should be solely to God. Whosoever you worship here on earth is the one you will reign with in the aftermath. The devil was able to capture one third of the angels through his craftiness into his ambition, and they are indeed reigning with him today,

There is no one that God calls to himself that he will not test. Well, the devil knows that the children of God will not worship him, and so he is looking for how to be worshiped by all means. Although he has gotten angels to worship him, but he wouldn’t be satisfied with that, therefore, came down wanting worship from mankind.

The same way the Holy Spirit can possess a man is the same way the devil can possess. The serpent is not the devil, but the devil possessed the serpent, and the cunning scheme of the devil soon begin to play in the serpent as he talked with the woman. WMB said the woman was bewitched and demoralized, and he was able to conquer the woman by his craftiness, brought her down and slept with her, and the devil again was able to have a seed who will worship him.

Yes, the first sin in the garden of Eden is fornication, the devil however was not after enjoying sexual intercourse with the woman, he was only looking for worship! And knowing that the seed of God will not worship, he opted to find a way to infuse his seed into mankind.

As youths, if you cannot guide your life according to the word of God, and you allow yourself to be deceived by the the devil, he’s converting you to becoming his worshiper. When the devil was able to achieve sowing his seed through the serpent into the woman, he gained descendants who will worship him, through Cain.

We are close to the end of the world, spend all that you have for the Lord, don’t continue to attach yourself to your nativity, there’s no spirit that is good, only the Holy Spirit is good, and if he has called us out, it behooves us to separate ourselves and set ourselves aside for God’s service alone.

When the Antichrist will be empowered, the bible said those that will worship him are those whose names are not written in the lamb’s book of life. Choose who you will worship, both has end though, one to life and the other to death.

Don’t forget that the aim of the devil is to be worshiped, so watch all that God has given to you: your doctrine, your life, your talents, your money, your knowledge, they should rather be vessels of worship to God, the devil should not have the opportunity to pervert us to worshiping him ignorantly.
