In God’s divine plan for salvation for all creatures, The Jewish time would be paused to bring in the Gentiles. Thus, we need to examine as Gentiles, if God has turned to us for salvation and what is necessary for us to do.
Text: Luke 21:24, Romans 11:25, Daniel 9:24, Matthew 10:5-8, John 10:16, Matthew 28:18-19, Romans 15:22, Matthew 27:51, Acts 9:15, Acts 13:44-48, Acts 14:27
When Daniel was praying to know the mind of God concerning their captivity in Babylon, Angel Gabriel appeared to him, to tell him about the fullness of the time of the Jews. That was where we saw that 70 weeks are determined for the people of Israel. It is important to note that God has His divine measurement of time, and seventy weeks would not mean literal seven days of the week. Rather, this is a prophetic week wherein one day is one year. The Jews in total have four hundred and ninety years before the consummation of all things.
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Luke 21:24
However, the Gentile days would come in between the Jewish time, at the 69th year of the Jews, Messiah would be cut off, and the Gentile time would begin. So, the Gentiles have their time, and there is also the fullness of their time, in which their door would close, and salvation would return to the Jews to complete their seventy weeks.
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matthew 10:5-6
The Gentile Time
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. Romans 11:25
The mystery of God is the engrafting of the Gentiles, to open the door of salvation to them. And before this could be achieved, the door for the Jews was closed.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be onefold, and one shepherd. John 10:16
The Beginning of the Gentile time began when Jesus told the disciples to go to all the world and preach to all nations.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:19-20
When Christ was to start this, He sent Peter to the house of Cornelius. And after that, God raised Paul as a light to the Gentiles.
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: Acts 9:15
Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. Acts 13:46
God had to blindfold the Jews for the Gentiles to come in, although the Promise belonged to them. That was however the program of God. This is the reason we should not bluff but love God more because it’s only an opportunity given us.
The gospel of Christ that you believe is not by accident, God predestined everything before the foundation of the world. No, God is not partial. None of God’s children will be lost. God will bring everyone of them in one after the other. That is what we call the fullness of the Gentile time.
The fulness of the Gentile time is the when the total number of the Gentile will come in -God knows the actual number He has predestined to be saved amongst the Gentiles, and when the last soul is in, the Gentile door would be closed.
THE OPENING AND CLOSING (COMPARING THE FIRST AND LAST CHURCH AGE)
In the first church age (the Ephesian Church Age), which was the opening of the gospel of Christ to the Gentiles, the door was open so wide that the numbers of people coming in to believe the gospel were massive. Even at Pentecost, three thousand people believed and were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Later the church grew to five thousand. Scriptures says later that great grace was upon them all.
Also, Christ, who is the Lord of His Church, was in His Church, walking amidst the Seven Golden Candlesticks.
Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; Ephesians 2:1
Walking in the midst of the candlesticks talks of the sovereignty of Christ in His church, and in the heart of His own. The love of God was in the heart of everyone, people believed the gospel and were ready to deny worldliness. But when we come to the last church age, which is our age, Laodicea Church Age, Christ has been thrown out of His church, and is outside, knocking.
And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:14-20
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU?
Nothing more than to accept grace whilst it is available, and now that He is knocking at the door of your heart, open to Him. Be counted worthy of the gospel of Christ. The door is closing at the church age. Yes, it is hard to get the massive experience of the gospel again, because the heart of the people has been blinded to see the glorious gospel, thus, God is knocking on a few individuals, who can still hear His gentle salient voice, and will allow Him come in.
Voice? Yes, not that God will speak from heaven, but He sent a messenger, whose voice we need to hear if we don’t want to be lost in our age. It is the voice of the seventh messenger – William Marrion Branham. Scripture says, in the days of his voice, this mystery of engrafting the Gentiles would be finished.
It is therefore a blessing to know the program of God for your day and walk in that program. That is all God requires from you. If you can believe in the voice of God through this messenger of your day and walk in it, you have nothing to fear.
Walk in the Light, while you have the light. Shalom!
