We welcome you once again to our sermon review section as we continue on our current series “The Mystery of The Three Visitors of Abraham”. Today we unveiled God’s mind towards the gentiles by the scriptures, how God started with the first gentile age and also extended his love to other dispensations. Please we encourage you read through previous reviews for proper understanding. Check the links below for past reviews on this subject :

The Mystery of The Three Visitors of Abraham (V)

The Mystery Of The Three Visitors Of Abraham (IV)

Text: Ecclesiastes 3:10-11, Romans 8:5-10, Romans 1:16, Revelations 3:14-20, Revelations 1:10-19, Genesis 19:1-2, Genesis 18:1-2, Revelations 2:1.

The world we live in is a mysterious world. It is divided into two; the natural and the spiritual. The spiritual world which is a world of faith (world unseen) could only be lived in by the believers of the Bible who take God’s written word as true. While they live in the natural world, they don’t belong to this world. They understand that being carnal will lead to death. They also understand that being spiritually minded will bring them peace and life.

God also divided his visitation to the world into two; the Jews and the Gentiles. God brought his gospel to the Jews first, and then to the Gentiles. He will return back to the Jews when the rapture of the Gentile bride takes place.

The Gentile time is divided into seven dispensations, which John saw in Revelations 1:10-12. He was sent with a letter to the seven different churches in Asia which prefigured the characters of each church in their dispensation. Each church has their messenger which the Bible referred to as Star or Angel.

The word of God to each of these churches is prophetic. Each church has different messages which typed the current situation of the church at that time. The first church age is the Ephesian church. And the messenger to the church was Paul. The Ephesian church was a Gentile church. It was a Lion age where heresies and creeds were not condoned. The Holy Spirit in Paul set the church in order according to the word of God. God tested everyone by His word. The word of God was the yardstick by which everyone was measured. No woman was put on pulpit, No three Gods doctrine was allowed. And the Nicolaitan spirit was kicked against. God pointed out their faults but also commended them for not allowing the Nicolaitan spirit.

The Ephesian church was instructed to go back to their first love. When you slip from your first love, you have fallen. Sin that was once detesting to you should not be normal. The things you held on to spiritually should not fall from you. You have to keep the fire of your first love burning. God wants you to repent and return to your first love. We are in the last church Age, which is the Laodicean church age, and we should not give in to weariness. We should return to the apostolic ways and follow the pattern by which the foundation of the first church was laid.

Don’t be weary, brethren. There is peace and life in serving God diligently. Therefore, hold fast to what you believe and don’t let it slip off from your hands. Do well to join us on our next review as we continue on this series.

Shalom, brethren.
