THE URGENCY OF THE HOUR

There is a deep in every elect of God, and that deep is your identity. That means the preaching of the gospel cannot make you an elect; the preaching of the gospel comes as a deep to awaken the deep in all of God’s elect, and when that deep cry out, your deep will respond if you’re an elect. Equally, the evening message was not sent to awaken the world, but rather the elects who have long waited for the bridegroom, but their consciousness went foggy in the process of time. The midnight cry has come to awaken them out of their slumber, to come out and meet the bridegroom.

Warning does not necessarily stop you from averting a pending danger, but your urgent response to that warning. Our attitude towards this message that we have received and believed in is what determines our identity. It is not enough to claim to be a message believer; if you don’t respond to the voice of the time and give it the urgency it requires, you don’t understand the message. When you understand the message, your ambition will change; you will drop your ambition and take up God’s. The message of the hour is given for us to understand two things: -the age where we are and the time we are in. In this life, there is no continuing city; in fact, this is Satan’s Eden; there is no place for God on earth here. When you understand the message, you will create room for God in your heart, thereby escaping the judgment to come, which is the second thing the message of the hour has come to make us understand. The purpose of the message is not to prevent the oncoming judgment from coming on the world, but to awaken the elect who’s deep would respond to God’s deep—to change our hearts for transformation so that we can escape the judgment to come.

There is a picture in the Bible we can look up to see how to respond with the attitude required for us to heed the call of warning.

And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot’s house, named Rahab, and lodged there.

And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country.

And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.

And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:

And she said unto the men, I know that the Lord hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.

10 For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.

11 And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

12 Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the Lord, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father’s house, and give me a true token:

13 And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death. Joshua 2

Rahab risked her life by hiding the spies from Israel, committing what can be termed treason if caught. Rahab was in the system of Jericho, but she had no confidence in the system of Jericho. Jericho was a place surrounded by mighty walls that could not be penetrated, sophisticated men of war who could withstand all sorts of battles, and a great comfort of pleasure, yet she saw beyond all that that she began to confess faith to the men that came to Jericho. She simply believed the promises of God for these feeble men rather than in the system of Jericho. Thus, she took a stand and asked the men to swear that she would be given a true token. What was in her that transcended the understanding of all of Jericho and what it could offer her? If only in this world you have hope, you are of all men most miserable.

If you must have the true token, you must be desperate, and you must understand the signs of the time, where your confidence cannot be in anything but the LORD. Rahab understood this, and she became desperate, requesting a true token. She understood two things: it’s time for Jericho to be destroyed, and if she must escape the wrath to come, she needs a true token. Do you understand the message you have believed? Check your desperation to answer. There is a life that should follow when you understand the message. The message is not for you to read and go. There is something you must know that will propel urgency in you to respond with imminent response to God’s voice calling “The Bridegroom Cometh.”

Daniel understood the message of his time; he could read the handwriting on the wall; this was his difference between him and the magicians. Because he understood the signs of the time and the message of his day, he had a different attitude.

In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;

In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

Daniel became desperate about seeking God’s face, the left behind the things that use to distract him and set a focus. And because he acted the way he ought to, God sent an angel to him.

If you have heard the message, you would know that there is an expectation on your life that God has towards us: God expects you to be desperate, God expects you to keep walking far away from the world, not into it. Paul saw the stand of some brethren for the truth and commented that indeed, their name must be in the book of life.

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life. Philippians 4

The day you become conscious of your identity, your attitude will change, your lifestyle will change.

11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. Romans 13.

It is time to awake out of slumber, the Bridegroom cometh, let us heed the Cry made, to come out to meet Him.

HOW WILL THE BRIDEGROOM MEET YOU?

Not all who profess themselves as brides are truly the brides of Christ. In fact, we can resolve this argument by understanding that what tells the bridegroom that you are a true bride is how much preparation you have made to meet Him. Oh, not how much preparation you are going to make when you see Him, if that is your case, He will only come to you suddenly. And you would believe with me that no man gets married to a woman suddenly—it only tells that you’re not a true bride. In Matthew 25, there were two categories of brides: the wise and the foolish. Do you know the response of the bridegroom to those who wanted to prepare themselves when He arrived? “I know you not.”

This is simple to understand; you must have known the person you are getting married to. Jesus is not coming for an emergency bride. What have you been doing to meet with Him? How will the bridegroom meet you? Do you know that every bride is expected to adorn themselves because they have hope that they’re soon going to get married? You don’t need to force her to prepare; she prepares herself because she has an understanding (revelation) that is personal to her and her bridegroom; this is what “knowing” is. It is an intimacy that has been unearthed over a period, which would culminate in a marriage union. No true bride begins preparation on the wedding day. The fact that you’re doing nothing now tells us that you’re not one of the true brides—you are not one of the wise virgins.

There is a need to get ready, to prepare ourselves entirely, so that when we appear before Him, we will be without wrinkles or spots. This is achievable through complete obedience. Friends, partial obedience is not obedience. Your obedience to the word of God must be complete if you are to be a true bride. The challenge, however, is that we do not take the word of God in its entirety. You want to sit on the fence; you want to do God and still do you. You cannot be taken when the bridegroom comes if this is your state when He comes. So, the Bible enjoins us in Hebrew 12:1

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Brethren, if we do not have the heart to retain God’s word, we have no ears. There are basic things that we need to take note of as brides. The Bible calls them “sins that easily beset us,” like unforgiveness, envy, and strife. The word of God calls for our total allegiance. If we must be worthy of Christ at His coming, we must have a sincere heart of forgiveness. But also, there can be no forgiveness without repentance. So again, another sin that besets us is pride. Many have not obtained mercy from God because they have not humbled themselves to genuinely repent. If you need forgiveness, you must be willing to repent. Look at what the scripture says in Luke 17:3

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

Forgiveness is God’s but repentance is man’s; there are people who find it difficult to say they are sorry, there are people who take brotherhood for granted. Believe me, there are conditions the LORD JESUS should not meet you if you are part of the bride. We need to work out our salvation with fear, not taking the word of God for granted but submissively responding to God’s truth. Hear me, it is not the mystery you don’t know that will take you to hell, rather, it is the fundamental truth that you know but choose to ignore that will take you hell. The word of God should open your eyes to your unconfessed sins so that you can repent. There must be a conviction within us when we hear the word of God. Let us do like the prodigal son, who, after realizing himself, went in repentance to his father.

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit and a contrite heart. Neither can you bribe God nor mock him. Don’t play brotherhood; when you sin against a brother, your wife, or your father, you have both sinned against them and God. This is the time to take the remedy. This is indeed the time to become wise. This is the time to work on ourselves for the bridegroom, so that when He comes, we will be worthy to go with Him.  When the bridegroom comes, you must come out of yourself to meet Him.

Israel and The Church (What led the Israelites to Egypt)

It’s another time to share with you our newest review on Israel and The Church. Today we picked another subtopic titled “What led the Israelites to Egypt”.  From our previous series, we have studied this subject; taking our journey from the book of Genesis, pointing out different characters, and lessons for us to inculcate what they did right, and learn from what they did wrong.

Text: Amos 3: 1, I Corinthians 10:1-6, Genesis 37:3, Isaiah 66:5

God has always been a God of choices. Over the course of this teaching, we have seen how God projected his choices in the people he chooses to transfer “The faith”. Now after Noah, God continued moving with his seeds down to the point where Isaac came into the picture. He gave birth to twins, the interesting thing about God’s choice was that he decided to go with just one (Jacob) and rejected one (Esau), won’t you say God is mean? How can God just come out to say he loved Jacob before they came out of their mother’s womb? – Now God went on with Jacob, he was the foundation of the nation Israel, he was not the best of choices from the human angle, but God who knows what he want chose him.

Jacob was the worst when compared with Esua in terms of their character, but by grace, he was chosen by God to continue his plan of building a family for himself. Now that we understand how Jacob came into the picture and the process of God from the beginning in building for himself a family, we want to study 3 characters that emits from Jacob and his family in general:

  • Jacob’s character
  • Joseph Character
  • Characters of Joseph 11 Brethren

We are doing this so we can learn from their rights and wrongs, most especially their wrongs which led them to Egypt. All these things were written for our learning.

What did Jacob do wrong while managing his family?

  1. Showing preferences among the children: This is a common occurrence in families today. Parent with this kind of attitude creates problems for their family. This was exactly what Jacob incurred in his family by preferring Joseph to the rest of his brethren. You cannot expect his brothers to be happy knowing fully well that their father chose to get only one of them a coat of many colors. What happened to the rest of them? Are they having two heads? Please avoid this in your families. Do not segregate the children even if you have one that is wayward, because it will not yield a good result. Another angle to pick from, was Jacob preferring Rachael to Leah, this alone, caused God to close the womb of Rachael and open that of Leah because she was extremely hated (Genesis 29:31). The negative part of showing preferences is two-sided, it brings problems to the person in the act and the person who is being preferred. Joseph and his father paid dearly for this.
  • Pride: Pride kills a man even with God’s promise over his life. No matter what God has promised you; if you are proud, you will not enjoy God, and if you are a covenant child just like Joseph, God will have to work upon you the hard way so you can be useful in his hand. One of the key factors that led Joseph to Egypt was his pride, he began to see himself better than the rest because he could see visions and dreams, the same way some of us are. If you walk this kind of path as a child of God, you are on your way to Egypt.
  • Rejecting God’s Chosen: This was the mistake of Joseph’s brethren, which we ought to learn from. It has nothing to do with the previous behavior of Joseph, God’s concern is your reactions to situations per-time. They rejected God’s chosen vessel because of their biases. Joseph of Cos had God’s covenant upon his life as a deliverer, someone whom God was going to use but they were blinded to this, there was no one among them who had spiritual insights into what God had in store, they ended up throwing away God’s gift to Egypt. This singular act also led them to Egypt. If You reject God’s own gift for your life, you are on your way to Egypt no doubt about that. The good gift of Joseph which was supposed to benefit them went to boost the economy of a different country, that is what envy and jealousy can cause. Brethren, we cannot also be in this act and enjoy God, and this is the alarm we have come to sound as you read through this review

Please remain in your God’s given position. Be exactly where God wants you to be in the body of Christ, therein lies your blessings. It’s a pity that people are more focused on being somebody else and because of this they are not fruitful. Christians today are occupied with the spirit of envy comparing themselves to somebody else and fighting the grace of God upon people’s life. We must pray God should deliver us from the spirit of envy, because with this spirit in us we cannot grow.

Another thing to learn from the character of Joseph is “reservation”, this is something he lacked. A Christian is supposed to be a reserved person regardless. Joseph could have saved himself from being a slave if only he was reserved enough to contain what God had revealed to him. Today we have Christians who talk anyhow without caution, forgetting that not everybody is happy with your progress. Joseph was a victim of this after relating to his brethren his dream. They were already full of envy.  You cannot please someone who is envious of you (At all), no matter what Joseph did he was seen as a threat to them, and they could not but sell him out to Egypt. Do you know that this envious act of theirs was also the reason they left for Egypt? If only they had Joseph in their midst they could have been saved out of famine, but they sold out the gift of God to enhance another country. Are we sure we have not done the same or doing the same today?

Saints of God, we need to rid ourselves of these acts, especially the spirit of envy in others to be blessed by God. I pray God help us.

Israel And The Church (The Seed of the Serpent & The Seed of the Woman)

Welcome again to our latest series on Israel and the Church the Church. Today we want to go in-depth in our teaching, understanding the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman. To have a full grasp of what was decoded in the scriptures concerning this, we must be part of God’s bride, if not all of what we’ll be touching today will look vague because to them it is given to understand the mysteries of the scriptures. (Amen) One of the mysteries that the holy Spirit unveiled to us is the understanding of the two seeds described in Genesis chapter 3.  Now let us dive in properly:

Text: Genesis 2:15, Genesis 3:1 – 6, Matthew 13:11,34, Genesis 4:1, Genesis 6:1, I Peter 3:5, Isaiah 3:16, I Timothy 2:9

As we look into this section of our series, we want to establish that the bible was coded (written in symbols | written in parables) by God himself for only his seed to decode by the Holy Spirit, so if you don’t have the indwelling of God’s spirit, you’ll be lost in your so-called head knowledge. Now, you’ll agree with me from our last series that we were able to establish that Adam and Eve were involved in an act that brought about the realization that they were naked, and before that act, they had no consciousness of their nakedness because sin was absent. (Genesis 2:25). Brethren, sin exposes us, and that’s why we need to run from it because there are consequences to sin. Adam and Eve are a perfect example to learn from.

The part that we call “private part” today was because of the sin in the garden. That part was the instrument used for the sin, and that is why when they realized what went down, they sew for themselves an apron to cover their private part.

The outcome of the Sin
After what transpired, two seeds were in the womb of Eve that populated the world today. One was for the woman, and the other one was for the serpent. These two seeds exhibited the attributes of their source as we have explained in our previous series, Abel was the likeness and image of Adam who was of God and Cain was the likeness of the serpent who was of the devil, these attributes are what humans reflect today. You are either of God or of the devil, you can sit in-between. And that is why when Cain killed Abel, God had to raise for himself Seth to continue his plan of building unto himself a family.

Another angle to study this subject is looking into the first worship in the garden by the two seeds. You’ll agree with me that one (Abel) could not help but be in the right attitude of worship because he was a product of God. Cain could not yield to God because there was nothing in him that could respond to God, and that was why he was the only one who was sent out of Eden (The presence of God), he was a seed from the other side (devil).

Adam, Eve, and Seth didn’t leave the physical Eden as described by the bible, the only thing that happened after the fall was that they could no longer access the presence of God until the blood of Christ was shed for remission. I pray we don’t lose the presence of God because it’s a terrible experience a believer can have.

Seeds are being Led by God

The picture of the two seeds extends to the family of Isaac. We can see that in the aspect of God’s choice even before the birth of Jacob and Esau. God was particular about Jacob and left out Esau because his concern as the all-knowing personality was his seed. If you also study deeply, when it comes to Jacob’s marriage more attention was given to it because a seed of God is to yoke with someone of his kind.

Because you are blessed, and everything is working for you doesn’t make you a seed. if you are not part of him from the beginning, you’ll sure fall off at some point. If you check the lineage of Cain by the scripture, they were not poor people (at all), they were the top guys making things happen, but could not reflect an attribute of God. They multiply to kill, build a city that should get to heaven and all sorts of things that negate God are what they were involved in.

The Two Lineage of The Two Seeds

The Seed of God:

Adam = Seth = Enos = Cainan = Mahalaleel = Jared =Enoch = Methuselah = Lamech = Noah

The seed of the devil:

Cain = Enoch = rad = Mehujael = Methusael = Lamech

Can you see the two lineages that we have on earth? One had a rapture candidate while the other were the first to introduce polygamy and killing. Where do you belong? What attribute do you possess? Are you sure your attitude and way of thinking are not like those from the lineage of Cain? (seeds of the devil)

There was a clear distinction between the two seeds from the beginning, not until when the devil came into the picture again in Genesis chapter 6 to cause the two lineages to mingle. All of these were to actualize his agenda.

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart”

Brethren, this is where we are now. The world has been polluted and it’s in the hands of the children of Cain, they are the fashionistas, politicians, and all kinds of extreme behaviors we see today. They are fulfilling the commission of their father the devil and we are called as the seed of God to fulfill the commission of God, so we are to act, dress, and speak as children of God.

I pray that God helps us remain in God’s commission and not act like the seeds of the opposite side. We are not to copy the trend of what they bring up, we are called to be different and live to please God.

Israel And The Church (What is the Tree of Life)

Last week we started a series titled “Israel and the Church” where we introduce a few of the things the Holy Spirit will be taking us through. We started by reviewing the mind of God towards mankind, he wanted a family to himself but in between there was a disruption that outlined a new process to this. We also introduce the beginning of this disruption in the Garden of Eden, explaining what transpired between Eve, the serpent, and Adam. Feel free to review our previous post if you missed it.

Text: Genesis 1:1 – 3, Revelation 22:2, I Peter 5:8, Genesis 3: Genesis 2:16, Genesis 4:25

Today, we want to talk about the “Tree of Life” that God restricted Adam and Eve from accessing. Last we talked briefly about it, but today we’ll be buttressing what the Tree of Life is, what it represents, and who the Tree of Life is. You’ll agree with me that when God recreated the earth after the first destruction of the first world (The world of Angels) in Genesis 1:3 – 31, there’s no verse where it was highlighted that God created the tree of life and the tree of evil and good knowledge. What God created as regards consumable trees was stated in Genesis 2:9a, it has nothing with the two mystical trees (Tree of Life and Tree of Evil and Good Knowledge). We should also know that these two trees are not physical neither are they spirits (Angels), so what are they? Because they were so important that God had to give them a condition of what would happen if they consumed it. More reason why we should be curious to know those two trees.

Where Did the Tree of Life and Tree of Evil and Good Knowledge Come From?

The tree of life and the tree of evil and good knowledge were not created and yet they exist. Brethren, these two trees were a determinant factor for their stay in the garden, their attitude towards those two trees was either going to keep them in the garden or evacuate them from God’s presence. We should be curious to know what they were, right? why will God instruct them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil but for others, they are good to go? (Genesis 2:16) Brethren, there is no reason other than the fact that the tree was the Law of God, it’s God’s commandment. And these were the commandments governing the Garden of Eden.

These two trees are entirely different from each other. The tree of life was right there in eternity before time – and the same does not hold for the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Brothers and sisters, we have a role to play, and we have obedient to display as we journey with God, because God tests his chosen children, and that’s why when God created Adam and Eve in the garden, he had to put the devil alongside to test their obedience. See, God will not destroy that immoral person in your office or area, no matter how much you pray, because the person is an instrument of test against you. – we all will be tested like it or not.!!

So those two trees can be described as two laws that are fighting to win over anyone living in the Garden of Eden. This is also a type of what we are made up of (Flesh and spirit), this two-entity war against each other in a man, the one you give an audience to rule your life and you cannot allow the flesh to rule your life, we are meant to keep building the spirit man and not gratify the desires of the flesh. (Amen)

What is the Tree of Life?

The tree of life is nothing but the word of God. It’s God’s commandment governing the garden. In the beginning, was the word and the word with God, and the word was God (John 1:1). God established a sustenance source in the garden for them to pattern their life in, the same way he has given us the Tree of Life which is the word of God to direct our path. Are we still where he kept us, or we have lost of state?

Two Scriptures That Look Conflicting (Genesis 3:1-3 vs. Genesis 3:6)

To explain these scriptures, we need to read through Genesis 4:1 and ask the question “When did Adam know his wife and how many times did the bible record this event? What was the outcome of Adam knowing (being intimate) his wife?  And how does this correlate with God making himself a family?” first we need to understand that Genesis chapter 4 was a summary of what happened in Genesis chapter 3 vs. 6, so what really happened in Genesis chapter 3?

Brethren it is nothing but an intimate act; first between the serpent and Eve, which resulted in Eve introducing the same to her husband. This act brought forth two seeds (Cain and Abel). One was for the serpent and the other was for Adam. Note that both seeds were entirely different, one was from the devil because the devil possessed the serpent to deceive Eve, and the other was of the linage of God and that is why Cain killed Abel, because he was a seed of the serpent, he had the nature and inbuilt of the devil., so he had to exhibit that.

Now the death of Abel went contrary to the plan of God, and the plan was to maintain a family unto himself that will dominate the earth. Adam had to know his wife the second time to bring forth Seth because Cain was not from God and a family cannot be built with the wrong seed.(Amen) Remember that when God was cursing them after the sin in the garden, he said “I will put enmity between thy seed and that of the serpent”, and this enmity started right there in the garden which led to Cain killing Abel, it took God another intimate process between Adam and Eve to bring forth Seth to continue his family here on earth, Cain was of the family of the devil while Seth was of the family of God and that is why we have two lineages of human being here on earth. Because of this mixture, it is very important to earnestly pray before getting married as a believer, if not you might end up marrying the seed of the devil.

The seeds of the devil are full of deceptions and don’t forget they are also religious, just like Cain, he also brought an offering to God, but he was not ready to do it the right way and this is because what is in him cannot respond to the right thing. Brethren it is important we appreciate what Christ had come to do at the cross for us, He came to cause separation between the two seeds by Christ who is the word of God, and we should be glad we are part of God’s family.

So, a clearer understanding is achieved, if we can see that the act the bible defined in Genesis 3:1 – 3 vs. Genesis 3:6 is more of an intimacy between Adam, Eve, and the serpent and not just eating a literal apple.

Join us next week as we expound on the two kinds of seeds here on Earth.

God Bless You.

Israel And The Church

Today, we started a series titled “Israel and the church”, and we embarked on this topic because of the critical time the church is in. We can see that the bridal church of God is patterned just like the nation of Israel, the way God dealt with the children of Israel, is the same way he deals with the church. That is why we need to have our hearts open as we follow this series, so we can see ourselves by the scriptures, picking the right lessons to learn from the children of Israel, lest we also become victims of God’s judgment because of our disobedience.

Text: I Corinthians 10:1-6, Genesis 3:8, Exodus 19:5, Genesis 3:1, Deuteronomy 14:2, Psalm 135:4, Deuteronomy 26:18, I Peter 2:9, Ephesians 1:4, John 15:16

It is a critical time with the church because God is closer to us day by day, the same way he was with the children of Israel. Just as God did not overlook their rebellious acts when he called them out of Egypt, same way God is frowning at our rebellious acts after which he called us out from the world and revealed himself to us. Do we think God did all of that, so we can take him for granted?

The mind of God from the beginning was to have a family he could relate to and commune with here on earth. He wanted a relationship with man, and he started with Adam and Eve with the expectation that they’ll also produce children of God to inherit the earth, but they bent from the principle of God, and we know what ended their actions. They lost their God’s given position and thwarted God’s plan to gather a family unto himself through them.

Now it took God another interesting process to gather unto himself a family from mankind. over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be studying all these processes, highlighting things to learn from, things to abstain from, and things to adopt as we keep pressing to see Christ someday. But before then, let us take a journey down to why God took another turn in this process, what really happened? Why was Eve cursed, what transpired in the Garden of Eden? It’s a pity we have Pentecostals thinking that the sin that took place in the garden of Eden was just eating an apple fruit, oh c’mon, that’s too cheap to swallow as a bible student. There was more to that event, you should know that they bent from an instruction “do not” and were involved in an act, and that’s why we are imploying us not to bend from God’s provided way, because it is a terrible thing to fall into sin; it comes with shame.

The pollution of man’s bloodline happened in the Garden of Eden; I’m sure your question will be how? Pollution came because the serpent had a carnal knowledge of the woman (Eve), and this same sexual act was introduced to Adam by Eve. You cannot tell me that eating literal fruits opened the eyes of the woman- Never!! It has something to do with intimacy and this intimacy brought about the injection of the serpentine nature we all exhibit today.

The moment they were involved in that sin, God had to banish them from his presence (The Garden of Eden), and not just that, he placed on the east side of the garden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way of the tree of life (Genesis 3:23 -24NIV). What should drop into your heart, should be that – why did God restrict them from accessing the tree of life? Is the tree of life a normal tree? Who is the tree of life? Brethren, the tree of life is no other person but our Lord Jesus Christ in symbols; and that is why Christ came to redeem us from the first fall of man and this redemption was by blood.

Redemption plan through Christ was what brought you and me back to God. The reason why we don’t appreciate it is because we don’t know that he has a purpose for you and he’s taking you and me somewhere, and this is because we are seeing it from a worldly perspective. Eve saw it from this same perspective, and she got the reward of such a mindset, she bent from God’s calling and lost her place. God is not ready to bend for us, if you lose the track God has placed you, he has nothing to lose, it is you and I that will suffer from such negligence.

I pray God gives us strength to stay on track. Join us next week as we go further with this series

God bless you.
