We welcome you into the convention, it has pleased the Lord to gather us together in order to prepare his bride for the rapture, and again, our garments are being purified by His words. Oh how wonderful it will be for us all to be washed, saved and converted.
SCRIPTURES: Luke 22:31-32, Luke 3:7-14, Matthew 7:15-20, Philippians 2:5-11 , Revelation 4:9-11, Revelation 5:1-14, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, 1 Corinthians 15:51, Genesis 5:22-24, Hebrew 11:5, Psalm 138:6, Hebrew 1:14, Colossians 1:10, Galatians 1:10, 1Corinthians 7:32, 1King 19:10, 2King 2:1-10, Jude 1:14,
Jesus Christ told Peter that when he is converted, he should strengthen his brethren. The question now comes: when was he converted? Because he has been following Jesus for more than three years. Brothers, he was converted when the Holy Spirit came down on the day of Pentecost. And until we all have received the Holy Spirit are we then converted indeed. And as the theme of our convention says: bearing fruits worthy of the rapture; we cannot bear such fruits if we are not converted. We need to grow to a point where men can attest to the fact that something has happened in our lives that goes beyond a shadow of doubt through our untainted lifestyles -the kingdom of God is not for sinners.
Bearing fruit worthy of the rapture in a simple term is “living a Christ-like life”. Just like naturally, everyone expect a mango fruit from a mango seed, such is the same with one who is planted in Christ, our lives will show that we are pilgrims and strangers on earth, because the kingdom life we live is not of this world.
Who is then worthy? None but God himself. If we would pick the life of Jesus for an example, he became worthy, but by humility, though he was equal with God, nevertheless being fashioned in man’s likeness, he humbled himself to death -even the death of the cross. And for that was he counted worthy and all powers subjected to him.
It will cost you something, you have to do something, not to save you, but to show appreciation of your salvation. God has sent forth his grace, and by grace alone can we be worthy to bear these fruits, because trying to bear this fruits without the released grace of the cross amounts to nothing. But every predestined seed that has been raised to life will live unto Christ.
We are expecting the rapture, and indeed the Bible promised rapture, but that is for those who have a testimony. All of the examples of the rapture candidates had testimonies they left on earth (such men as Enoch), who served God without retiring, and God translated him. Paul spoke of him, that by faith he was translated, and before his translation, he had a testimony that he pleased God. He left us with a hallmark that “it is possible to serve God.” Have you ever ask yourself how the sons of the prophets knew Elijah was going in rapture? It was because he had a testimony beyond the realm of this cosmos, he was heavenly! You need to have a testimony! -that must precede your rapture. All you need do is to obey and follow him step by step and you will discover that it is simple, because God will not tell you to do what is impossible, his laws are not grievous the bible says.
You have to live a life pleasing unto God alone, we can’t serve two masters. You have to grow to a point where you become jealous for God, you can’t stand anything that griefs him. We have Phinehas who was zealous for God’s sake, and by this, he turned away the wrath of God over the people, and God in turn blessed him with his everlasting covenant of peace, and guess what? This same covenant of peace is also given to all who would be faithful. Your being jealous for God can promote you to a place of honor -God honors men -faithful men! If you can’t fight for God, you can’t go in the rapture. If truly you love God, you will be jealous for Him, the Spirit of God, if truly in you, will not tolerate evil.
We have countless examples of the raptured souls in the Bible with their life’s testimonies, and if we want to go in rapture, we should take them for a manual to guide our daily living.
Every one that made a firm decision for God weren’t loved by the mainstream folks of their days, the world entirely don’t love them. Jezebel was looking for Elijah to kill because he was standing for God. You will not be loved by the world when you’re taking stand for God; though the present world will hate us, we should not hate them, because God does not work in bitterness.
We need to allow God to work in and through our lives to accomplish all of his purpose. God did not finished all the works he had in plan when Jesus was on earth; what is left is to be achieved in the lives of the brides. And if indeed we are the bride, then we ought to bear the fruits of the gospel we are hearing so that we can be rapturable. We need the rapturing faith to meet the Lord in the air. Shalom and God bless us.
